Text Box: S.M.A.R.T accepts payment through Medicaid using an approval service called First Transit. For each non-emergency medical appointment you have, an approval number from First Transit must be obtained before we can transport you. Call our dispatch office to reserve your trip. One of our dispatchers will be happy to assist you with your reservation. After you’ve reserved your trip, you will need to contact First Transit to make arrangements for payment. First Transit can be reached by calling toll free; 1-877-725-0569 Once First Transit has given you an approval number, please call S.M.A.R.T. with that approval number to complete your reservation. A dispatcher will call the business day before your appointment to confirm your pick up time.
