The Shawnee Mass Transit District is a state and federally funded, 501(c)(3) nonprofit public transportation provider serving the five southernmost counties in Illinois: Alexander, Johnson, Massac, Pulaski and Union.  Shawnee MTD offers a wide variety of demand response, deviated route and commuter transportation services to provide the public with a safe, cost-effective means of transportation for health care, education, employment, tourism and more.  In short, we'll take you anywhere you want to go.  Take a moment to view our services tab to determine how we may best serve your transportation needs.
